Elections to local bodies in the state will be held at the end of October.The voter list for the polls will be published on the 17th of this month.There will be a chance to add two more voters to the list before the elections.
The term of the Governing Council of the local bodies ends on November 12.The Commission has begun the process of holding elections.The Commission will publish the voter list for the elections on the 17th of this month.The Commission has directed the Electoral Registration Officers to complete the process of redressal of complaints received regarding the draft voter list by June 15.
Those who have not yet produced any other documents, including the photo, must submit to the Electoral Registration Officers directly or indirectly from June 9-11.It will once again be given the opportunity to add its name to the voter list next month and before the election.The Commission has so far received around 21 lakh applications.
