Former Indian paceman Tinu Yohann has been appointed coach of the Kerala Ranji team.Tinu replaces Dave Whatmore as coach of Kerala Ranji.
Whatmore took over as coach of the Kerala cricket team in 2017.In the first season, Kerala reached the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy.Last year, Kerala reached the semi-final of the Ranji Trophy.
Tinu Yohan made his debut for India on December 3, 2001 when they played England.He made his ODI debut on May 29, 2002.It was against the West Indies.
KCA is the first director of the High Performance Center (HPC) in Alappuzha, aimed at nurturing the cricketers of Kerala in the model of the National Cricket Academy.Tinu is the son of Olympian TC John, an Asian record holder at Long Jump.
