9851 Covid cases and 273 deaths in 24 hours in the country

Covid cases are on the rise in the country. During the 24-hour period, 9851 positive cases and 273 deaths were reported.Five states, including Maharashtra, accounted for 83 percent of the deaths.Most of the cases are reported from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat.28,000 cases of Covid in Tamil Nadu. In the last 24 hours, there have been 1438 new cases and 12 deaths. There were 28,694 positive cases and 232 deaths. In Chennai alone, 2,615 persons have contracted the disease.The Madras High Court has decided to close the matter till 30th of this month after Kovid confirmed to three judges.The judges will sit through the video conference from the official residence.26,000 cases of Kovid cases registered in Delhi.During the 24 hours, 1330 positive cases and 25 deaths were reported.The Delhi government has denied the complaints about shortage of beds in hospitals.Health Minister Satyender Jain said that 5,000 beds were being prepared.

The total number of positive cases in Gujarat was 2,200 and the death toll was 1190.
